One Eleuthera Foundation

Building thriving, resilient communities on Eleuthera since 2012.

One Eleuthera Foundation

It’s hard to believe that our sister entity, One Eleuthera Foundation, has entered its second decade of service to the island of Eleuthera and The Bahamas. What started out in 2012 as a Shared Vision for community development has become a tangible reality. Through our Five Areas of Focus – Economy, Education, Environment, Health, and Heritage – thousands of lives have been forever changed.

Despite the challenges that we have had to overcome over these last few years, OEF and OEF-US continue to press forward in our mission. As we approach our second decade, we embrace the opportunity to be a leader amongst regional NGOs who are wrestling with questions surrounding food security, sustainable economic development, access to healthcare, and the impact of climate change.

Thanks for all of your support over the years. We would be nothing without the faithful, consistent generosity of our donors.

Sincerely yours,

Rev. Lane Glaze

A Shared Vision for
South Eleuthera

The formation of One Eleuthera was inspired by A Shared Vision for South Eleuthera, first commissioned by Friends of Lighthouse Point to develop a sustainable plan for Lighthouse Point and other special heritage and conservation sites on Eleuthera. These principles were developed by a wide range of stakeholders and are still relevant guideposts for the growth of our community today.
